This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy the Russian version prevails.
In short: we have no accounts, we don't ask for your name or phone number, and there are no advertising trackers on the site. The only analytics is Yandex.Metrica, covered in its own section below. What follows is the full list of what is stored, and why.
1. Device code
Computed by the app from the device itself, it serves as the subscription's address: without it there is no way to tell which box the extended version applies to. The code contains nothing about its owner and cannot identify a person. It is kept for as long as the subscription tied to it exists.
2. Box details
The app tells the server what device it runs on: the box model as the system itself names it («Xiaomi Mi Box S»), the Android version and the app version. These details are shown on the activation page next to the code — they let you confirm you're entering the code of the box in front of you rather than a neighbouring one.
Their second purpose is protecting your subscription. The device code is computed from the box itself, but on some cheap models the source data for it is empty, and two different boxes can end up with the same code. The model makes that visible: the subscription stays with the box that used the code first. The details are stored with the device record and contain only the model name — no name, no location, no channel list.
3. Email address
Asked for at payment optionally and used only to send the receipt. The subscription is not tied to an email: if the field is left empty, payment goes through just the same. We send no mailings.
4. Payment data
Payment is handled by the payment provider. Card details never reach us — we receive only the confirmation of payment, its amount and its identifier. The provider processes the data under its own policy.
5. Transferred playlists
A file transferred by code is stored on the server exactly as it was uploaded, together with the file name and the channel count. This is necessary so the box can collect it by code.
The file is deleted as soon as the box has collected it: the code is single-use, a second fetch is allowed in case the connection dropped, and after that neither file nor code remains. If the box never comes, the file deletes itself three hours after upload. You can delete it sooner with the button on the transfer page. We do not look at, publish or pass on the contents of playlists; codes are chosen at random and are not indexed by search engines.
6. IP address
Recorded when a playlist is uploaded and when an order is placed, and used to rate-limit requests — without it a single script could fill the storage in minutes. We build no separate statistics by IP address.
7. Cookies
The site sets one functional cookie — it is needed to show you your own uploads and let you delete them. It is not an account and not an advertising identifier: the cookie holds a random string, lives for a year and is passed nowhere. Yandex.Metrica sets its own cookies — see the next section. There are no advertising cookies on the site.
8. Yandex.Metrica
The site runs a Yandex.Metrica counter. It collects anonymised visit statistics: which pages were opened, where visitors came from, from what device and browser, and where they clicked. It serves one purpose — to understand which pages are read and which aren't found.
The data is processed by Yandex LLC under its own policy and the Metrica terms of use; ; we receive only aggregate reports. The counter does not see your name, phone number or the contents of your playlists. You can opt out with Yandex's Metrica blocker or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser — neither affects how the site works.
9. Sharing with third parties
Data is not sold, not passed to advertising networks and not used for profiling. There are two exceptions: the payment provider, without whom payment is impossible, and Yandex.Metrica from section 8. Plus cases expressly provided for by law.
10. Your rights
- Delete a transferred playlist — with the button on the «Transfer playlist» page.
- Find out what is stored under your device code, and demand its deletion — by writing to support.
- Decline to give an email at payment — it will not prevent the purchase.
